CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Intervention Center for Autism and Related Exceptionalities (ICARE) has welcomed its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Prof. Churchill G. Aguilar, during its Monday Assembly at the ICARE Conference Hall, August 12.
Aguilar will play a pivotal role in guiding ICARE through its next phase of growth and expansion, streamlining its operations, enhancing efficiency, and delivering greater value to its stakeholders across its network of local sites.
With an impressive educational background and a wealth of experience in various leadership positions, he is a highly qualified professional, committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in the organization.
Having finished a master’s degree in Special Education at Cebu Normal University where he also took doctoral units in research and evaluation, his dedication to the world of special education is incontestable.
Prior to joining ICARE, Aguilar was the Chief Executive Officer of Danrel Realty. He was an OD consultant to a network of rural banks in the province and several government agencies in Visayas and Mindanao. He also served as Editor In Chief of two community papers in Visayas and Mindanao in recent years.
“We are happy and excited to welcome Prof. Churchill as our new COO,” CEO and President Dr. Renato Tangonan said, adding that Aguilar is not new to ICARE as he has been their external consultant in Learning and Development over the years.
“His strong operational background and vast experience will be key in ensuring we maintain a fully optimized effective operating model across every branch of ICARE,” Tangonan said, emphasizing that the new appointment is part of ICARE’s multi-phase growth plan for rapid expansion.
“I’m greatly looking forward to hitting the ground running and working closely with the team assigned in the different cities to build on ICARE’s excellent reputation,” Aguilar said.
