DTI-10 showcases local creative products with ‘Abot’

THE Department of Trade and Industry-10 presents “Abot: A Design Upgrade Initiative.
” It encapsulates the month-long progress of 27 local designers in Northern Mindanao as they exhibit the final products or “abot” of their upgraded designs.
The perfect time has come (“ni-abot na ang saktong panahon”) for the makers to carve their names in the wearables and homestyle industry with their ingenuity and passion for creativity.
The Design Upgrade is a capacity building activity of Department of Trade and Industry under the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Program.

“Abot” also features a promotional film by Jez Orbe produced by Orbe Studios, with motion design by Dan Cristino and shot at Sea La Vie.
The film’s muse is Annabelle Mae Tate McDonnell; set design and styling by N&M Creations.
Also involved in the making of the film were Marie Pacquingan, production manager; Jermaine Nabong and Silk and Satin Studio for the wardrobe; Anderson Nabong, stylist; and Glen Torayno, hair and makeup artist. (DTI-10)
