CFSI turns over 4 socio-econ infrastructures in Butig

The inauguration of the 150-meter farm-to-market road along barangays Sundig, Cabasaran and Dolangan.
BUTIG, Lanao del Sur – With funding support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of the Australian Government, Community and Family Services International (CFSI) recently turned over four socio-economic infrastructures in this municipality.
With the Marawi Recovery Project (MRP), the 150-meter farm-to-market road along barangays Sundig, Cabasaran and Dolangan will now provide easier transport of goods.
Other inaugurated infrastructures are the newly constructed circular culvert in Barangay Ragayan, community warehouse in Barangay Poktan, and footbridge in Barangay Coloyan.
Farida Mangcaan, head of office of CFSI Sub Office Iligan, urged the beneficiaries to sustain the projects awarded to them.
Meanwhile, Johary Lumna of Task Force Bangon Marawi Field Office, emphasized that the Task Force Bangon Marawi will continue supporting good initiatives of its partner agencies for the development of the municipality. He also thanked CFSI for supplementing the efforts of the government.
The municipality of Butig also conveyed gratitude for the relentless and continuing support of CFSI provided to them.
MRP aims to promote the protection and the psycho-social and economic recovery of at least 6,500 households (32,500 persons) displaced by the Marawi crisis. (LELA | PIA ICIC)
